Our plants!

Our plants have started sprouting, we are so excited and can't wait to see how they will turn out. Have a look at the ways we are tracking their progress.

Today we got to hang out with our awesome buddies from room 23. We did portraits of each other in the lovely sun!

Let's get growing!

We started our planting on Monday, it was so exciting, and also quite messy! We have each planted basil, mint and parsley. We have also planted some carrots in buckets. Holly brought along the duck watering can so our plants have something to drink and Miss Cowan's father in law gave us this great planting table. We can't wait until they start to grow!

Spring has already begun in room 8

Our inquiry unit this term is 'Am I alive?', we started looking at how things grow and decided to decorate our room with some beautiful, bright flowers. Come and have a look at all the flowers we made!

Miss Cowan's Aunt (Who is also called Miss Cowan) came and read to us in term one. We were so excited to get a package at school from her. She sent us a fantastic book about Queen Victoria's Underpants, our favorite bit is at the end when you get to lift up her dress! Thanks other Miss Cowan!
